About the event
Thanks to all who have signed up to work the Hoop Shoot event this month on the 17th at Boyd Hill Recreation Center.
As of the writing of this newsletter we still need a couple more scorekeepers, one more referee and at least one more registration table volunteer.
There will be a short meeting of all available volunteers at the lodge at 6:00pm on January 8th (before the regular business meeting) in order to go over the rules, assignments and any Q&A.
In further promotional efforts, we are planning to be on the WRHI Palmetto Mornings radio show the first week of January (date/time - TBD). This time young Jackson Hayes (who made it from Rock Hill all the way through district, state to the regional in Valdosta, GA in the 8-year-old division last year) will be interviewed.
